Counselling practice:  I am trained and qualified in Person centred Approach, CBT and I offer specialist trauma and EMDR. I am a qualified OCST online therapist. I can work with all life experiences and with those from diverse backgrounds.

I can work short or long term with you. My training in the Person-Centred Approach changed my career path and my way of being and relating to others.  I have a deep-rooted belief that this approach and way of being has a power of its own in helping others on their life’s journey.

I am particularly interested in relationships and the notion of the higher self and transpersonal aspects of the relationship.  I used to teach counselling at University and Further Education level.

I believe that the fragile self can be held and with the right conditions can help others to release and aid healing at many levels.

I feel that I can build trust quickly and I have had feedback that my empathy is deep.

I have also been trained in CBT for anxiety and depression and Trauma related work including EMDR.

I truly uphold the BACP ethical framework to ensure boundaries are kept to and adhered by.

Professional boundaries including confidentiality are imperative to the safety of those I work with and I hold and maintain boundaries well.

Counselling is a way of getting support and help with life experiences and when you are really heard it can help you to create choices and heal the past.  It may also help with creating coping strategies that are helpful and even help with your self-caring and wellbeing.

I provide counselling in a safe confidential and non-judgemental environment to help you explore life’s challenges and difficulties.
